Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150402191859
Steps to reproduce:
using Alcatel Onetouch Flame with no SIM.
nightly builds.
entered room with wifi, wifi found, an update was found.
after a few hours, allow system update.
after some download, a message appears "update system?"
after a few hours, answer yes.
Actual results:
Phone rebooted and had time about 2 1/2 hours late.
Expected results:
The time should stay correct.
May be related to the long delays during update procedure; will test and update this bug report.
May also be related to Bug 1147308, if the date and time got screwed _before_ the system update started. Will investigate.
I plan to add more info after a few more nightly builds...

Actually, it seems to be much simpler: the time is lost during each reboot.
Reboot resets the time to a certain constant value. I guess it is the time of the download of the nightly build, but it may as well be the build time of the image.
Summary: date changes during upgrade → date changes during reboot
