My ISP is having problems with their mail server. This is resulting in login
failures being reported.
In this case Mozilla requires that the password be reentered, making the
assumption that the wrong password was used.
There should be an option to put the password in at the time that the MAIL or
NEWS account is set up, and to change it from there, or to prompt each time.
If prompt each time is not selected, when a login failure occurs, a status box
should be displayed and then the login displayed later. On a successful login,
the status box is removed.
This is the way that Microsoft Outlook handles passwords and login failures.
