We discussed this last year, and it comes back somewhat frequently. It would also be cool to be able to spoof these values programmatically so you can run automated tests on the simulator (e.g. you could record real data and then feed it back to your simulator to run repeated tests). Thanks for filing this bug! This is another cool feature that would be nice to emulate. I'll link it to our "emulation-devtools" metabug. This will need some controls in our emulation devtools (we're currently figuring out what they should look like, both for desktop and simulator targets) and probably platform support for spoofing values for one devtools target only.
