Details
In bug 505582, mintty was added to the package but not enabled by default due to various regressions that are difficult to work around. This bug is for investigating ConEmu as another possible terminal replacement.

my 2 cents, I moved from Console2 to ConEmu about 1 year ago, and so far I am very satisfied, everything seems to work (apart the usual mach coloring issue on win32)

Just to keep things updated, I'm not using anymore ConEmu, I had some rare issues with injected dlls.
After moving to Win10 I just used the Windows PowerShell and it satisfies my needs atm.

Here's the current plan:
- Port to use mintty as documented over here. Since Git Bash and MSYS2 both default to mintty, I feel that it is likely to be the most stable and tested.
- Note that it should be possible to use the Windows Terminal to interact with MozillaBuild instead of mintty, if preferred
- Ideally, I'd like to make Mach work outside of MozillaBuild, so it can be used from PowerShell: you'd need to configure your
MOZILLABUILD
environment variable, then Mach would sort out the details.
Marking this as dupe as it'll be solved in the other ticket.
