Reproduced with Firefox Developer Edition 39.0a2 2015-04-28 under Win 8.1 64-bit. This issue was introduced in November 2014, since Aurora 35.0a2 added "dev-edition-default" profile. Steps to reproduce: 1. Remove all Firefox profiles 2. Start Firefox Developer Edition by double-clicking the firefox.exe icon or by typing firefox in command window Expected results: Firefox offers to import data from other browsers Actual results: Dev Edition is opened, the import dialog is not shown. Both "default" and "dev-edition-default" profiles are created in Profile Manager. Notes: Opening Developer Edition with "firefox -migrate" option shows the import dialog. Also importing can be made with "Import Data from Another Browser" option from Library window.
I'd be interested in getting this to work.
