Details

bug 1159060 was yet another case where CDN purging did not go smoothly. We finally worked around the issue in a manner that may also work in the future, although more investigation of edge cases and unknown consumers of current scheme is needed. Those items include: a) confirming no negative side effects of change b) implementing new process in scripts/etc. c) updating check_cdn script to match For reference, the manual workaround is outlined at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_38.0b8/BuildNotes#Firefox_2
From practice we figured out that there is no easy way to purge CDNs. :/
