Details

The SpotManager only bids based on price. Some instance types should be given a discount (possibly negative) to reflect the extra resources not reflected in the `utility` number assigned to it. For example d2.2xlarge has 6 drives of ephemeral space: It does not need 2Tb of EBS to setup an ES node.

This has been fixed long ago with the use of `discount`. A negative value can be used to compensate for the EBS prices
