Details

I found this with "with EN-US SeaMonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack) Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit"

Steps how to reproduce:
1. Launch Browser
2. Menu 'Tools → Add-On manager'
   » Manager appears
3. Type "block" into search string input line → click magnifyer
   » List with hits appears
4. below results list click "Show all xxx results"
   » List on AMO appears
5. Type "WOT" into search string input line and wait for suggestions
below; sometimes it's a little tricky, you have to click elsewhere
into the page, return to input string, delete last character of
search string, type again, but finally the "speech balloon" with
suggestions should appear. In my German SM I see first hit "WOT -
   sicher Surfen"
6. Click on that hit will show
   <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/wot-safe-browsing-tool/>
7. Now again Type WOT into search string input line and click green
button at the right of the input line
» <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/search/?q=WOT&appver=2.33.1&platform=windows> DOES NOT SHOW "WOT".

Reason is that in step 6 AMO switched from "SeaMonkey" area to "Firefox" area, and "WOT" is not approved for SM.

The current behavior is worrying for normal users.

I know that "WOT" will reappear after having deleted the "&appver=2.33.1" string from URL.
And also using filter settings left from hits list 'Works With → All FF versions' will heal the problem. But why does that function have the name "All FF Versions". Actually it changes filter to "l&appver=any", what might include SM. But who can know, in URL I still see the string "firefox". Changing that to "seamonkey" again will hide the desired result again.
So without Step 6, what switched to <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/>, it would be impossible for a SeaMonkey user to find that add-on by adapting filter settings.

My suggestion:
a) Add filter item "All Browsers" to avoid this pbstacle

I will file a separate bug for the incomplete SM versions list.

Can someone please forward to addons.mozilla.org with some relevant comments?
