116288 - Horizontal lines when scrolling up a page.

I'm having a problem with page rendering.
The browser works fine for awhile, but soon, if I scroll up a page (by dragging
the scrollbar, using mouse-wheel, etc.) I get horizontal lines across the page
as the new screen area is revealed.  These lines are space according to how fast
you are scrolling (very close if slowly, very far apart if quickly).

I am seeing this on all web pages, in both when tabbed & normal.

I have a screen shot if anybody is interested.

RedHat 7.2 @ 2.4.9
KDE 2.2.2

Does these lines go though images? If so, I think this is a dupe of bug 83289.

This was produced scrolling slowly.
The artifacts are further apart the faster you scroll.

I don't think it's the same because the lines I see go though everything -
background, text, images, etc.  It does look similar though.  Some of the
comments sound very similar.

Some other notes:
If another window covers the improperly rendered area, and is then removed, the
portion blocked is redrawn correctly.

The problem does not occur when scrolling down a page, just up (ie. going from
bottom to top).

It is somewhat intermittant.

Resolving this as duplicate of bug 111176 - the screenshots are very alike.

Can  you please add info in that bug about about your:
-"Display Resolution" in mozilla's prefs/fonts
-Graphics adapter
-Screen resolution you are running X under
