Rerendering this page after clicking a link and then going back (Alt-LeftArrow) is a very slow operation. To reproduce: * Scroll down until you see December 3. * Select the link right above it: 00:14 Re: Target-specific Front-Ends? (Was: front end changes for Alex Rosenberg * Press Alt-LeftArrow On my 500Mhz RH6.2 machine, the back operation takes about 6 seconds until the page is displayed and at the right place again. Netscape 4.77 completes the redraw in 2 seconds.
Confirming issue in the Linux Dec 20th build (2001-12-20-08). Tested under Redhat 6.2 with a 500 mhz PIII.
