Steps to reproduce:
Java applets that require internet access behind a proxy do not get the proxy settings from Firefox and crash
It worked on Firefox 37, but does not work anymore since firefox 38 update.

Actual results:
Java applets that require internet access on a proxy based computer do not work anymore
Expected results:
Java applets that require internet access on a proxy based computer work, receive proxy settings from firefox and simply work.

Hello,
Why not, but could you provide last firefox37 nightly date, and first firefox38 nightly date?
I suppose you talk about nightly releases?
It's a known bug.
