Steps to reproduce:

Using two printers

Zebra 2824 Label Printer
Star TSP100 Eco Receipt Printer

Default printer in windows is set to the Star TSP100 printer.


Actual results:

Switched to Zebra 2824, printed labels, printer defaults to Zebra 2824 after.  Changing back to Star TSP100 printer resets all settings for that printer (paper size, cut).  

Need to manually change back TSP100 settings each time in Windows Printer Properties and Preferences.

print.use_global_printsettings tried both true and false.  Same results.

Tried changing prefs.js file to read only, worked for a few days but same problem came back.


Expected results:

Default printer should stick to Star TSP100 printer, or changing back to the Star TSP100 printer should not reset all preferences.
