The filter input box is too small, in my opinion. Once you type in more than a word or two, you can't see all that you type.

This pull request makes the input box grow when it has focus and/or has content in it.

Feeling pretty tired so not going to have time to test this, so it's more of a rubber stamp. If you've tested it and are happy feel free to give it a shot.
