(In reply to Gordon P. Hemsley [:GPHemsley] from Bug 1159112 comment #12) > If we want to be able to pull data from the L10n dashboard (which does not > sound like an unreasonable request to me), we would need to develop that > functionality as another extension. > > File a bug in Websites :: wiki.mozilla.org and we'll investigate that > possibility. See Bug 1159112 for details. Rainer/Ricardo can you summarize what sort of data you would like to pull from L10n repository?

You can see what we are extracting for the es-ES localization team website here: http://www.proyectonave.es/productos/seamonkey/progreso The columns are: Channel/Tree, Errors, Missing and Obsolete. For the wiki, other contents could be wanted. I can provide the PHP code we use in proyectonave.es site. It may be interesting involving Pike, because it might be that there are better ways to grab that info.

I'm not sure if that's something I want to ensure stability on on the elmo side. Team pages on the l10n status today feature a lot more data than just missing strings, too, and I wonder if pointing to the page that's actually maintained on elmo is more useful than playing whack-a-mole each time I want to land a change on dashboard data on the elmo side. Note, I also pitched the idea to remove the page that triggered this bug. We should have that conversation in bug 1159112, obviously.

Seems that bug 1159112 doesn't really need this, and I disagree that we should use the wiki instead of elmo to do dashboards. Marking this WONTFIX.
