Steps to reproduce:

Used firefox after an update. Opened firefox, did not see last session restored. Tried repeated to load tabs and shut down. Last session doesn't appear in any circumstance.


Actual results:

Last session unreachable


Expected results:

Last session to be shown at startup 
AND
Last restore enabled in history
AND
Last session restore to be enabled on homepage

At least "Last session restore to be enabled on homepage" works for me with all past alpha versions.

Please go to about:preferences#general .
Do you have behind "When Mozilla Firefox starts:" the option "Show my windows and tabs from last time" selected from the drop-down-menu?
If no, please select it and try again.
If yes, please select a other option from the drop-down, go to a other page in the option (e.g. select "Privacy"), go back to "General" and reselect "Show my windows and tabs from last time" from the list. Now please try to reproduce it again. Does it work now?

Hello trash - you mentioned that you are able to reproduce this every time. Are you still seeing it with the latest release of Firefox?

Marking this as Resolved > wfm since I cannot reproduce the issue using the latest Fx versions, there are no new updates on it for 6 years and it might not be relevant anymore. Feel free to re-open if the issue is still reproducible on your end in the latest FF versions.
