User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0 Build ID: 20150415140819 Steps to reproduce: Kept responding to the the Firefox 38.0.1 update which is a security & stability update... Actual results: Norton kept removing it as a threat... Expected results: Update should be successful...
Could you provide some more detailed steps to reproduce? Do you have the Norton toolbar installed into Firefox, or are you using Norton antivirus on your computer? Are you trying to download the update using Help -> About Firefox, or by manually downloading a new version from the mozilla.com website? When you say "removing it as a threat" can you tell us the precise wording of the dialog you see, or maybe even include a screenshot of what you see?

No to Norton toolbar... Yes to Norton antivirus... Downloading from mozilla.com... Norton:analyzing updater.exe , !updater.exe has no available reputation information... Got another mozilla window to come up for the update and this time Norton responded with "updater.exe" was safe...This was on 5/31/2015...Update was successful...Guess it is okay to close bug report... Thanks...t.a. king
