Steps to reproduce:
1. Create webpage with PNG images, style them to display scaled up crisply.
2. Fade some of them to grey.

Actual results:
The grey-faded images get blurred.
Expected results:
They should have been rendered with crisp edges.

Problem occured in Firefox/38.0 on Ubuntu precise 12.04.5 LTS.
