Details

(Keywords: hang)

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
Build ID: 20150513174244

Steps to reproduce:

It happens all the time when I am loading a page that has videos, such as cnn.com or nbcnews.com.

Actual results:

Page freezes up and Activity Monitor says "Firefox not responding."

Expected results:

Page should load and not freeze up.
Can you reproduce the issue with clean new fresh profile without any addons and plugins?
Flags: needinfo?(muschetto)
I have removed addons and deactivated plugins - same issue. I have tried "ask to activate" for plugins - same issue. I have uninstalled Firefox twice and reinstalled - same issue. I have also tried refresh - no change. I have also activated and deactivated "hardware acceleration" - no change in issue.

For what it is worth, Safri works just fine on the same laptop.

Hope this helps.
