Can you reproduce the issue with clean new fresh profile without any addons and plugins?
Flags: needinfo?(muschetto)
I have removed addons and deactivated plugins - same issue. I have tried "ask to activate" for plugins - same issue. I have uninstalled Firefox twice and reinstalled - same issue. I have also tried refresh - no change. I have also activated and deactivated "hardware acceleration" - no change in issue.
For what it is worth, Safri works just fine on the same laptop.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I have tested this on MacBook Pro Retina Mac OS X 10.10 with FF Nightly 45.0a1 and I can't reproduce it.
If you still have this problem please retest it with Firefox Nightly, download it from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem.
If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
Please test if the issue can be reproduced in the safe mode of Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
