Details

I started this in Bug 1061273, but I had trouble getting my cipher suite choices to apply to the resulting socket, so I'm punting on it for now. The majority of the work in https://github.com/mozilla-services/android-sync/pull/554 is reusable.
At this point, I'd rather spend our effort replacing httpclient with something else.
