What do you mean by “tracking protection”?
There's already a “Learn more” link below the DNT option, which points to an article with a section titled, “Will companies honor my Do Not Track preference?”

Tracking Protection is a new Firefox feature that prevents websites from tracking the users. It works in same way as Disconnect or Ghostery. Read more at http://monica-at-mozilla.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/tracking-protection-in-firefox.html.
