When I signed up for Pocket in Firefox 38.0.5, I already had a Firefox Account set up. During the Pocket signup process, I saw a confusing Firefox Accounts permissions page (attached). What exactly was Pocket requesting permission for?
I now think it was requesting permission to see my email address, but that did not come across at all
This could be fixed by changing the wording/layout on the https://accounts.firefox.com/signin_permissions?... page

Pocket uses your email address to identify your account in their system and send you welcome emails. This screen tries to make it clear that Mozilla is asking for your permission to supply your email address to a third-party. Any suggestions?

"Pocket needs to know your Firefox Accounts email address" would make it clear.
But I don't think this is something that should even require explicit user consent.

Ryan, do you plan to move forward with this at all?
(I'm triaging FxA-related bugzilla bugs and this showed up in my list)

I see no signals from users that this a confusing page. It has very low friction and uses a very standard permission request design from other sites. It will however be improved somewhat as we do more than email (and allow opt out).
