I just duped the nsBox::GetBorder crash using the 2002010906 build on NT 4.0. Step: select print preview -> ZONK. Sujay, I think this is related / dupe of 114160 (your idea, comment #2). This bug has a little less noise, if you don't mind duping to this one. But, up to you.

A large chuck of the crashes with this behavior are crashing earlier in the stack at nsContainerFrame::ReflowChild. Updating summary.

Clicking on Print Preview on some URL shows the print preview. In Print Preview Mode clicking Print Preview takes you back to normal page rendering. It's ok so far. But now if you click Reload mozilla crashes. Hope is of help...
I amnot surprised Print Preview is crashing there are a lot of issues yet to clean up and fix.

FWIW the crash at nsBox::GetBorder is because doc->GetShellAt(0,getter_AddRefs(shell)); sets/leaves shell null. I got this in a debug build under w2k. It also look slike mPresShells of nsDocument is empty when the call to GetShellAt is made. Adding a check for null prevents the crash, but I suspect it may be hiding other problems.
Adding [@ BasicTableLayoutStrategy::AssignPctColumnWidths] to summary, since it's another stack signature this crash is happening under (from duped bug 114160).

It would be really good to get this into 0.9.8. It's a highly visible crash in a new and popular feature.

Bug Notes From Tucson Beta
Most of these crashes look like that we lost access to the style system at this point, it usually crashes when retrieving style information. At least BasicTableLayoutStrategy assumes that the style information is always accessible.

Based on talkback data it looks like some of the stacks associated with this bug report (e.g., nsBox::GetBorder) were fixed by the patch to bug 114139, but some (such as BasicTableLayoutStrategy::AssignPctColumnWidths) were not.

Just for the record, here is what talkback says about the following crashes: 1. BasicTableLayoutStrategy::AssignPctColumnWidths - crashes last appeard in 1/22 builds. 2. nsContainerFrame::ReflowChild - only a couple of crashes recently, 1 on 1/24 and 1 on 1/22. 3. nsBox::GetBorder - crashes last appeared 1/17 4. nsBlockFrame::ReflowDirtyLines - last crash reported on 1/24 verified wfm...please reopen if you see any of those stack signatures with more recent builds.

Returning this bug to worksforme, since the latest crashes reported under the nsBlockFrame::ReflowDirtyLines stack signature are not related to print preview. timeless: Could you please log a new bug on the crash you mention in comment #26. Talkback does show a few crashes with Mozilla 0.9.8, but they are on Linux and mention loading various websites (no mention of print preview).

It looks like 3 of the 4 stack signatures noted in the summary are no longer showing up in Talkback data. The only one still around is BasicTableLayoutStrategy::AssignPctColumnWidths . I see a few incidents in M099 data and also with recent MozillaTrunk builds. Instead of reopening this bug (which deals with multiple stack signatures), I'm going to log a new bug on just the recent BasicTableLayoutStrategy::AssignPctColumnWidths crashes.
