1171263 - Cannot exit edit mode on the homescreen

When long press an icon on the homescreen, it enters edit mode. But I cannot change anything there, nor can I exit the edit mode.

I tried to press the "exit" link at the top left corner, to press the home button below the screen, and to lock the screen, but none of them takes effect. I have to restart the phone to back to the normal homescreen.

Edit and Done text are in a strange visual state too, and the last one cannot be clicked anymore. See joined screenshot for this.

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
