Add Airplay capabilities to all the desktop browsers. (OS agnostic)

Ideally, this should support both audio and video (though I am less sure if the video is possible outside of Apple products).

This will create tremendous value for users across all platforms.

Over 25M Apple TVs have been sold. Add to this all other sound systems that support Airplay.

Apple is also rumored to be releasing a new Apple TV in 2015.

I completely support this. In 2019 Apple is expanding their Airplay 2 support to the latest TV's and are expanding their reach to other devices. It would be great if Firefox to be ahead of the curve and also have something that users can transfer from their Firefox browsers to watch on their Apple device including Apple TV or Macbook or iMac.

Is this something that can be implemented? It's one of the only reasons I have to use Safari on occasion. It's more relevant than ever since Apple just released a new TV model and their app is built into most Smart TVs these days.

Is there anything happening for this, this seems to be a pretty old request. I think now it is more relevant than ever to get this feature.

Anyone working on this? To a lot of Apple users, this feature is an essential, and for others an incentive to use FireFox.

Thanks for your interest. I checked and at this time, nobody is working on this. I've shared the bug in hopes to gain interest.
