From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112009 I'm using mozilla v0.9.6 build 2001112009 on Windows 2000 v5.00.2195 Service Pack 2. Intel PIII 800Mhz, 440BX chipset, 768 MB RAM, 27GB 7200 RPM western digital hard drive. I can not access any HTTPS urls. I click on the HTTPS link, the cursor changes to the busy cursor for less than a second, and then returns to the normal cursor. The new page does not load and the old page is still displayed in the browser. This happens with every HTTPS link I've tried. If you go to www.discovercard.com, there is a login link. This is an HTTPS link. It does not load for me. If you go to http://www.bankofamerica.com/signin/, the "My Bank of America Sign In" link does not work for me. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start browser 2.go to www.discovercard.com 3.click on "Login" link (it is an HTTPS url) Actual Results: Nothing happens. The new link does not load. The old page is still displayed. There is no network activity. This is confirmed by the IDSL router. Expected Results: The new page should have loaded.
Reporter: You have not installed PSM. You can't visit HTTPS (SSL/TLS) pages without PSM. Please don't unselect PSM (Personal Security Manager) during the installation. (Why do you unselect PSM if you don't know what it means ? ) 0.9.6 is already old. Mozilla0.9.7 gives an error Message if PSM is not installed "Unkown Socket Type) Please reopen if you are sure you have installed PSM *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 47617 ***
