Getting a profile would be the first step here.

Can you please get a profile when the lag occurs during scrolling? Instructions on how to profile are here - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Profiling_with_the_Built-in_Profiler Thanks!

We can't really get the profile, but maybe get this answer - the bug says "with the default driver" - does that mean we're OK with the latest driver?

Hi Anthony; the default driver is the current/onboard drive. There is no driver update that is higher(In reply to Anthony Hughes, QA Mentor (:ashughes) from comment #7) > (In reply to Milan Sreckovic [:milan] from comment #6) > > We can't really get the profile, but maybe get this answer - the bug says > > "with the default driver" - does that mean we're OK with the latest driver? > > Todd should be able to answer this question.

Not sure we can do much about this one - it's an Atom, 1GB system, 8MB integrated graphics. Anthony, we may want to remove this system from our test list? Still, about:support would have been useful. dxdiag is cool, but about:support also tells us how we're responding to the system in question.

About:support pages are attached to this bug report along with dxdiag. ..._dxdiag.txt are the dxdiag reports. ..._support.text are the about:support reports.

So it is, my bad. So, yes, we're completely in software rendering, and I imagine with only 1GB or memory, we are probably swapping, or spending time garbage collecting, or something like that.

This configuration still experiences a significant decrease in performance when performing the steps to recreate. However, it does not appear to be anything unusual given the hardware. I would not consider this a bug as it does not seem to be an issue with the browser.

Note: Browser 43 was used to try to replicate.
