Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Firefox in a new profile. 2. Click a link. 3. Click the back button. Expected behavior: Firefox returns to the previous page. What happened: The back button is grayed out and does nothing. More information: * Right-clicking the grayed-out back button still brings up a functional back-and-forth page history list. * The left and right navigation buttons in the right-click menu are also grayed out. * Alt-left and Alt-right keyboard navigation shortcuts are also broken. * Right-clicking on Pocket's button and clicking "Remove from Toolbar" immediately fixes Firefox's navigation. Re-adding the button immediately breaks navigation again. * Despite the description of Chakra's "firefox-kde" package saying "Standalone web browser from mozilla.org with OpenSUSE patch, integrate better with KDE", this bug does not appear in openSUSE's "MozillaFirefox" package. * There's a thread for this on Chakra's forums at http://chakraos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=14011. * This might be related to Bug 1014254, wherein particular Share button settings broke the back button.

This bug has been closed due to inactivity and/or the potential for this bug to no longer be an issue with the new Discovery Stream-powered New Tab experience, and improvements to Pocket’s integration with Firefox.

Please help us triage by reopening if this issue still persists and should be addressed.

Thanks!
