117334 - prefs dialogue box too small to show all contents of themes preferences

Description

[hobbit]

RH Linux 7.2. Upgraded from Mozilla 0.9.6 to 0.9.7 via Blizzard's rpms.

On starting 0.9.7 for the first time my theme had reverted from modern to
classic. That's not the bug, or rather that's different. This is the bug:

Edit -> Preferences -> Themes

The example of how the theme will look looks truncated to the right.
On the details, all I could see of "Apply Modern" was "Ap" or so.
Similarly the greyed-out box beneat was cut off on the right hand side.

Changing it and restarting I see the same with modern theme applies:
the explanation is cut off at "the way these items functic"; the apply
button is "Apply Clas" and the greyed-out one beneath is cut off.

The OK/Cancel/Help trio are all visible though. 

I have the browser starting at 800x600: does the size of the prefs
dialogue vary with the size of the browser? 

If you require screenshots, please say. I found other bugs like this already
in bugzilla but all against Mac or Windows and about different preferences 
dialogues,so I have opened it in the expectation it will be yet another to 
add to my list of duplicates (sorry if it is)

I think this problem is related with Font Size... (e.g., GNOME Control Center =>
Desktop => Themes, if you use GNOME)

Is this a dupe of bug 111841 ?

I do use Gnome. My font is lucida. I think! It shows up in ~/.gtkrc 
and in ~/.gnome/theme-switcher-capplet as 
:font=-b&h-lucida-medium-r-normal-*-*-100-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1

I do not know a great deal about fonts. Is this what you asked? :) 

I have looked at bug #111841. OSes aside, yes, it looks similar.The
title "Themes" is very wide, unlike everything else. I thought I 
had picked a nice small font, but presumably not. Would a screenshot
help?
