I'm unable to connect to wifi networks at the moment. I connect and it looks like it has succeeded but then immediately disconnects. I've attached logcat.

Looks like it connects and then receives the following after starting to scan:
I/wpa_supplicant( 1257): wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=00:04:ed:a2:3c:54 reason=3 locally_generated=1

PS I've tried multiple wifi networks, and also tried forgetting and re-adding.
Just FYI naoki since I think you are across all things wifi atm.

Chances are that this is similar to http://askubuntu.com/questions/39478/why-cant-my-wifi-connect-or-disconnect

We're going to disable IPv6 in bug 1171185; so that may help.

NI on jjong to see if she concurs?

The config 'ro.moz.ril.ipv6' should only affect data call connections, I doubt it has something to do with this issue. NI henry to see if he can help.

I tried the build here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171185#c29

And this fixed my problem. So maybe you can close this as WFM?

Jessica, interestingly enough, paul can't reproduce with that build without ipv6.

Maybe we should place that initial patch in this bug and close this off as resolved?

Reopening this bug since that patch hasn't landed yet, pauljt. Normally we don't close off bugs until the patches land in MC. That build you used was a test build. Sorry for the confusion.

Turns out that I needed to clobber, so it's just the same as a nightly build.

I think the difference of what paul may have had and what I have in the build then is :
Bug 1167466

Paul, I'm going to dup to that bug.

Thanks Naoki for finding the right cause of this bug.
