Steps to reproduce:

As mentioned in #1172347, in the homescreen Firefox search widget, sometimes if I type and press enter really fast, the query goes through and might come back, but then the search suggestions list pops up over the results.

1. Slide open the physical keyboard.
2. Press the search section of the "Firefox Search" widget.
3. Type some search query.
4. Press enter.

Note: I'm not sure if the physical keyboard is required for this bug, but it helps with the "real fast" part. Also, you might need to have Google as your search provider for this bug to appear.


Actual results:

I have attached a video of this made on the Android 4.4.2 emulator with today's Nightly. Note that this issue is NOT about the rendering errors, that's #1064325.

In the video I had previously searched for "firefox". I type "nightly" and press enter. The search suggestions for "nightly" show up and nothing else happens. If I dismiss the search suggestions, you can see the search results for "nightly" were hiding in the background.


Expected results:

If the system can display both search suggestions and search results for a certain query, priority should go to the results.
