From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112009 When clicking on the drop down menus on the above page, the browser becomes slow after a few mouse clicks. IE6 on Windows XP has no problems with the menus however. The drop downs seem to have some kind of customisation to them - however I'm not a web designer :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://gradunet5.gradunet.co.uk/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Gradunet3.woa/46/wa/link?articleName=new%20JobFinder&pathName=%2FContentCreated%2FJobCentre%2FJobsCentreContent&wosid=OE4tlgNay2Kj3i1iN9P1lAW9PIh&pageName=JobFinder&articlePath=%2FContentCreated%2FJobCentre%2FJobsCentreContent&type=Link 2. Select a few drop down boxes. Actual Results: Mozilla window becomes slow, with the drop down boxes taking 5-10 seconds to appear. Expected Results: No delay should be observed with the page.
wfm using build 2002010103 on Win2k w/ 900MHz PC. It's not blazing fast but acceptable (less than 1 second for me). Reporter, can you try with a nightly build ? Build available here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip
Smooth as glass for me, win98SE, 2001122803, Duron 800
I can't reproduce the slowness issue described. Tested the Jan 2nd build (2002-01-02-03) under Windows ME. Machine tested (Pent III 500 mhz).
Marking verified wfm.
