Nominating this 3.0? since this is a regression and the user cannot close the pop up. This could effect multiple websites.

I can't reproduce the pop-up described in comment 1. I do see that the site gives us a desktop version with the Firefox OS UA string. Did the site get modified so that the popup is no longer served?

Hi Kevin,
Can you help to check again per comment 5 from Jet?
Thanks!

Regarding comment 5, it looks like the site has removed the pop-up from this website. I made an alternative check looking at a couple of other car dealership websites and had the same result. Perhaps pop-ups have been disabled entirely? Dealership websites are usually notorious for almost always having pop-ups.

This still occurs on Aries and Flame Master.
The popup window is not displaying properly so the user cannot close it.

This does not occur on Flame 2.2
The user can zoom in and out to get out of the pop up window.

How are you able to reproduce this when the site posted no longer displays pop-ups? Please update the URL or add a test case for debugging. Thanks!

BTW, the big problem with this site is that the FirefoxOS UA string gets the desktop version of the site, which has CSS that won't work on a small device:
.pop-overlay .pop-up {
position: absolute;
width: 450px;
left: 50%;
top: 50px;
padding: 0px 0px 34px;
margin: 0px 0px 0px -200px;
background-color: #FFF;
border-radius: 3px;
}
Changing the UA string to Android or iOS works way better.

If you watch the attached video, you can see the steps to make the pop up appear.
STR
1. Go to www.iseecars.com
2. Enter a zipcode and tap the "Search" button on the main page.
3. On the left of the screen the user will see "Save Search" after the page loads.
4. Tap the "Save Search" button.
5. Zoom in and out on the page.
Notice the pop up does not display properly so the user cannot dismiss it.

My comment 11 still applies here. The site is serving us a desktop page that will not render well on any small screen. You can see what I mean by following the STR on desktop Firefox or Google Chrome in a window the size of a mobile device. The desktop page absolutely positions the popup at 50% screen width + 450 pixels. This cannot work on any phone.
As I noted, the site serves mobile content that works well for mobile devices when the UA string is Android or iPhone. We need to work on getting that content served to B2G.
