Affected builds: - Firefox ESR 31.8 - Firefox 39.0 RC Unaffected builds (did not manage to get the video on homepage): - Latest Aurora - Latest Nightly STR: 1. Start Firefox 2. Click homepage icon (until this webm video appears: https://snippets.cdn.mozilla.net/media/files/578456a5-ebcc-4c44-87e3-447e59561ec5.webm) 3. Play the video 4. Pause the video 5. Play the video Expected results: Video plays after. Actual results: Video will not play if play button is clicked or click on video, video will resume if volume is toggled. Notes: - Hard to say if this is a regression since the video does not appear on all builds (reproduced down to FF 38.0), will try and make a testcase to properly determine if this is a regression or not. - Gif showing the issue attached.

Can you please confirm this is fixed? Could also have been autoplay or the snippets embed, which doesn't exist any more.

I was unable to reproduce this even on the 'affected' builds from comment 0. I used the snippet from above in an iframe with autoplay but I did not run into issues.
