Since not only employees need to know the status of the projects, but also Reps depend on this knowledge, it would be great if metrics.services.mozilla.com could be integrated with the nda group of mozillians.org to open the dashboards up.

This is the same group as air.mozilla.org uses for internal meetings etc.

This is somewhat in line with the requests for metrics access that we're doing for localizers.

Are there aspects on metrics.s.m.c that are different to that?

AFAIK metrics.services.m.c. is considered deprecated now, though it will be maintained as-is until its successor is fully specified. WONTFIXING this.
