Build ID: 2001 12 28 03. Windows 2000.

Below the top row of logo and images of this page is a gray platter with some
text items
"Hälsa och vård Trafik ... Länkar Sök"

(These are supposed to be JavaScript menus, that they don't work is another issue.)

When selecting one of these text items (using mouse click + drag),
an extra "1" (i.e. the digit one) is rendered in front of the text.
This "1" remains as long as the selection is highlighted.
Reporter now working on minimal testcase...
Looking at the source, this is "normal" behaviour:

[...]
default;">1<span style="color:#000000;font-weight:bold;" class="extra">Andra
verksamheter
[...]

There's a "1" character which is not shown normally because of the color of
background.
Not a Mozilla bug to me. :)
btw, I have the same behaviour with IE6.
Svente,
Nothing strange here.
1 is present, in the HTML after the anchor, with class=meny-rubrik which sets
color to grey. So it can't be seen, the background being grey as well.
I'm convinced. Resolving as invalid.
