I'm trying Flipboard (flipboard.com) to read news. I can log in, and I can flip through stories. But, whenever I try to tap on a story to read more, nothing happens. In fact, taps are not registered on any icons on the page, either (eg. hamburger menu, Flipboard icon, search)

Yes, QA was able to reproduce this issue on Aries. I signed up for an account on flipboard.com because just browsing it without signing in seems to not reproduce the issue. As soon as I signed in I saw I was unable to tap into any article. Tapping on the hamburger icon, search icon, or flipboard icon occasionally does work, but most of the time it doesn't work (repro).

This issue does NOT repro on Flame. I was able to tap to view new articles, and hamburger, search, and flipboard icons work upon tapping. Although scrolling on this website works extremely slow, and there's something odd on search page where it doesn't respond to Cancel button.

Setting bug to Aries only. Also this reminds me of another Aries only bug regarding touch events not being recognized - bug 1196921, which has just landed a fix today so maybe we can check later and see if this is still reproducing on Aries.

I can confirm that this issue is no longer occurring on Aries central as well as on Aries 2.5. Possibly fixed by bug 1196921. After signed in, I'm now able to go into news articles, and tapping on hamburger icon, flipboard icon, and search icon works as expected.
