Tested with: Device: Nexus 4 (Android 5.0) Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to Settings -> Display and check the 'Allow autoplay' preference 2. Go to people.mozilla.org/~nhirata/html_tp/elephants-dream.webm Expected results: - Video automatically starts to play Actual results: - Video doesn't start to play automatically, video controls are displayed - After the 'Play' button is tapped, the video starts to play. Note: Reproducible with Firefox for Android 41.0a2 (2015-06-30) and Firefox for Android 42.0a1 (2015-06-29) Not reproducible with Firefox for Android 39 beta 8

I am not able to reproduce this issue. When loading the video with "allow autoplay" checked, the video auto plays as expected. When loading the video with "allow autoplay" not checked, the video does not start and the controls are displayed. I tested it on both 41 and 42 on a Nexus 4 Running Android 5.1.1.
Please see comment 3. If it behaves as describe in comment 3 then it is now working as expected.

Tested with: Device: Samsung S5 (Android 4.4) Builds: Firefox for Android 43.0a1 (2015-08-18), Firefox for Android 42.0a2 (2015-08-19) and Firefox for Android 41 Beta 2 The issue is not reproducible anymore: -"allow autoplay" pref checked: the video starts to play. -"allow autoplay" pref unchecked: video does not start to play. Video controls are displayed.

Removing tracking for FF41 as this perhaps got fixed by another patch. In any case, this does not seem to be an issue.
