Steps to reproduce (while dogfooding)
1. OTA to the latest master, with a phone set in French

Steps to reproduce (on a fresh build)
1. Set the locale to a non-english one (tested with French and Spanish and German. English and accented English don't reproduce)

Results
On a non-English language, the text overlaps the icons and the time. Hence, you're unable to see the Wi-Fi signal, the battery left and the time. See attached screenshot.

This issue is verified fixed on the latest Nightly Flame 2.5 build and the latest Aries 2.5 Spark builds.

Actual Results:  No text overlaps in non-English languages on the status bar.
