1183042 - Strange behaviour for magnifying glass from about:addons

Reproducible on: Firefox 42.0a1 down to Firefox 4 under Windows and Ubuntu

STR
1.Launch Firefox with clean profile.
2.Go to about:addons
3.Type a word in the search bar displayed in the top right corner of the page.
4.Click on magnifying glass.
5.Click for a second time on magnifying glass.

ER
The “X” button is displayed in search bar during the add-on searching in order to interrupt the search process.
or
The “X” button appears after the searching process is finished in order to reset the searching filter.


AR
The “X” button is displayed only after the magnifying glass is hit twice.


Additional notes:
- This issue is reproducible on Firefox 42.0a1 (2015-07-12) down to Firefox 4 under Windows 7 64-bit and Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit
- I am attaching a video recorded on Windows 7 64-bit where I captured this issue.
