Steps to reproduce:

In FireFox version 39.0 when you navigate to a select menu using a keyboard and attempt to open the select menu with spacebar or enter the menu does not open. (Worked in FF version 38)

To go the select from control (using FF39.0) http://webaim.org/techniques/forms/controls#select then hit spacebar or enter and watch nothing happen. 


Actual results:

When navigating to select control, upon hitting the spacebar or enter key the list did not open.


Expected results:

The select menu should have opened on input for from enter or spacebar keys.
It doesn't work even on Firefox 38 ESR.
