Description:
The user sets a passcode lock for the device in Settings, then presses the lock button on the side of the device. They press the lock button again to access the lockscreen, swipe right and are able to enter the passcode to access the homescreen. If they lock the device again, the keypad on the lockscreen will be unresponsive and they cannot unlock the device. If a Restart is perfomed, the keypad on the lockscreen becomes functional again.


Repro Steps:
1) Update an Aries to 20150714110444
2) Go to Settings > Screen Lock, and enable Passcode Lock.
3) Lock the device, and press the lock button again to access the lockscreen.
4) Enter the passcode and proceed to the home menu.
5) Lock the device again and attempt to re-enter the passcode on the lockscreen.


Actual:
Keypad on lockscreen is unresponsive.


Expected:
Keypad is functional on lockscreen.

This issue does not reproduce on Flame 2.5.

Actual Result:

The keypad remains functional after repeatedly locking/unlocking the phone.

Etienne, can you take a look at this please? This looks to have been caused by the landing for bug 1179040. We will need this landing backed out if possible since this is a smoke test blocker.

The report sent that day showed  test_add_to_new_contact_from_messages also caught the bug.
