Choose one contact to compose message -> Tap camera icon in input box -> Capture one picture

It takes more than 10s to finish capturing

verify with ACL 0.1.19 and Whatsapp 2.12.157-omrel1.0.10, still has this problem
Same behavior was observed on Android device with same network to send a captured picture. Won't Fix.

Sorry Pete, may I know which android device you use? I use Sony Z3C(23.1.A.1.28) to do the same STR, it only take less than 2s to finish capture
Modify STR
1. Choose one contact to compose message
2. Tap camera icon in input box
3. Capture one picture
4. Press "v" button to finish capture and then send

Step 4 will take more than 10s

Validated sending picture works as designed.  It may be slower on OpenC2 than some other platforms, but this is caused by hardware, OS, or WhatsApp, and is not an ACL issue.

Resolved Invalid/Won't Fix
Hi Pete, 

Just taking a picture took less than 2 seconds, why then is taking so long to capture it through WA app? We don't think it'd be caused by a OS or hw limitation.

verify with ACL 0.1.39 and Whatsapp 2.12.252-omrel1.0.13, it's much faster than before but still takes 5s to finish capture processing then start sending

Hi all

We've been playing with the last ACL(0.1.40-SP7715) and Whatsapp(2.12.252-omrel1.0.13) on a ZTE OPEN C2 (production build) and it looks good to us. It takes a reasonable amount of time to capture the pic and send it. 

Is anyone having issues with this feature?
