problems seems have been resolved by the guys in #taskcluster so tree reopened
I've been looking at the logs and it seems that the workers get stuck in a period of not being able to successfully upload all of their artifacts. There is a fix (bug 1185848) going out this morning that will help capture the errors when uploading artifacts and causes tasks to fail rather than hang. Hopefully that is indeed what is happening here and we will have better visibility into the issue.
