Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0
Build ID: 20150629114848

Steps to reproduce:

Press the link and move the mouse without releasing the button.
Also, select all the text in address bar and drag it to bookmarks bar.

Ubuntu 14.04 -
 xserver-common 2:1.15.1-0ubuntu2.7
 xserver-xorg-input-mouse-lts-utopic 1:1.9.0-1build2~trusty1
 xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-utopic 2:2.99.914-1~exp1ubuntu4.5~ amd64

Reproduced with fluxbox and twm.

Actual results:

The cursor gets doubled. There is doubled pointer - two cursors in about 50px from each other.

Expected results:

Mouse pointer should not get doubled.
I am not able to provide a screenshot with mouse pointer, but it led me to a workaround.
After taking a screenshot I displayed it using "qiv" image browser and the pointer got back to normal.
Displaying it with another image viewer (display from ImageMagick) does not help.
The "qiv" workaround is so good that after using qiv I am unable to reproduce this behaviour until i restart X11.
After quitting and starting X11 I can reproduce that misbehaviour again.
Nazir, can you check actually what this issue is ?
