Steps to Repro:
- Per the beta guidelines document, install whatsapp and the gaia system app
- Download ACL, launch it, install it.
- Reboot the device
- Download Whatsapp, launch it
- Have someone send you a message on whatsapp
- The notifications displayed on the top of the screen, also in the notifications list, has some weird characters.

verify with ACL 0.1.19 and Whatsapp 2.12.157-omrel1.0.10, still has this problem

I tested with ACL 0.1.35 yesterday, and confirm that this issue was fixed. Notifications are displayed properly.
