Details

Linux (1999-08-13-08 M9) 1. Using a plain text setup (compose_html = false ) in the prefs.js file 2. Open Messenger from Task, 3. Click New Msg to open the compose window 4. Enter To and subject and enter some text into the body to have some mail content 5. Send the mail to yourself 6. Once received, select the message and view the mail content Actual result: The text in the body is gone Expected result: The original mail content should be displayed when mail is received. Win32: This does not occur Mac bug# 11861: Cannot send mail using Plain text Compose

I woner if this is similar to 11861. mscott, could you look into this also to see if it's failing in our code?
Build 1999081608M9: Linux/Redhat 6.0 It appears to be working now. Using plain text I can create a new message enter addresses, a subject and body text, send it and all the text displays when receiving the message. Should the status change for this bug?
