Details
A friend of mine without a bugzilla account notes:
"I write an app (our room booking system) that uses "SSLVerifyClient optional" because while people without certs can do some privileged things, people without certs can do some other things. Our main web site has a menu item that will send you to my app, plus some other links to it.
If you start a fresh browser, and the first thing you do is to go to the main web site and touch a link to my room booking app (not even "hover" -- it is instantaneous), you are asked to present a cert. You can say "yes" but then you will not be asked for a password."
The cert-demanding is wildly annoying, and has been going on for a while in some form...but it's pretty recent that this new behavior has appeared."
She's looking for a workaround to this, any suggestions or links to other bugs?

"You also must set a password in the Software Security Device, or else this doesn't happen".
