Details

Build ID: dated 8/14/99 8:58:56 AM Platform: Windows for Workgroups 3.11 with MS TCP/IP-32 3.11b To reproduce: - Download and unzip the latest seamonkey build - Launch apprunne.exe (after all, its name isn't 8.3-compliant) Result: A full-screen DOS session is started, which terminates without an error message Expected result: A Windows dialog box should appear that says something along the lines of "Setup requires a different version of Windows. Check to make sure that you are running Setup on the Windows platform for which it is intended" (or similar).

hey chris, do you still have access to a win3.1 install to test this on? could the new installer have fixed it? Or do we even need to worry about it?
You're a funny guy, kerz. :) Seriously, I have everything you'd need to create a Windows 3.1 machine (actually Windows for Workgroups 3.11 with TCP/IP-32b). If you feel that this is worth doing, I can probably do it towards the end of the week. If you have any Compaq 75 MHz Pentium machines in your lab, those work well with WfW.
Definitely WONTFIX. Windows 3.1 is outdated and hasn't been supported for a long time.

This is one of 2 bugs with Windows 3.1 as the OS. Setting to Other so I can nuke that value from the database and stop it from cluttering the menus.
