Details

MacOS 10.1.2 with Mozilla 0.9.7. This is a frustrating and erratic bug that I
have been unable to log or reliably reproduce. However, if I surf long enough
eventually it re-occurs.

With Image Preferences set to "Alert me before downloading an image", when I
visit a page that contains images from multiple 3rd party sites that are not in
my Permissions list yet, the following will SOMETIMES occur: the buttons on the
Allow/Deny dialog box stop responding to input. I cannot click Yes/No/Cancel, it
ignores the Return key, and it blocks all attempts to use other Mozilla windows,
the menu bar, and command keys. The OS X Minimize jellybean works, but the
dialog immediately re-pops itself.

The overall effect is that Mozilla is frozen, but it doesn't crash (which would
at least give me a log entry). I can only switch to other apps and use Force Quit.
Frankie, are you still seeing this with a current nightly build?

Thanks for finding this old bug report; I lost track of it.
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119686 is my followup report after figuring
out some of the details. One of these two bugs should be marked Duplicate.

Yes, as of the Jan 31 nightly, with "Ask me before downloading an image" checked,
Mozilla locks up when loading 2nd party pages containing 3rd party ad scripts from
rcm-images.amazon.com

Please try my testcase at http://jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu/~fuy/moz-breaker.html
Having reviewed all the comments, marking this and bug 119236 as a duplicate of
bug 107806. Changing bug 107806 to cover both MacOS 9 and MacOS X.
