User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/44.0.2403.125 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Open ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org
Actual results:
An alert containing `550 Permission denied.` shows up
Expected results:
The list of the entries in mozilla ftp, /pub/mozilla.org/ subfolder
Same happens using wget:
$ wget ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/
--2015-08-10 12:32:48-- ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/
=> '.listing'

No such directory 'pub/mozilla.org'.
Curl seems fine though.
$ curl ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ | head -1
drwxrwxr-x 3 ftp ftp 4096 Jun 05 2002 OJI
Seems like the difference is that Curl sends a `CWD` command for every single subfolder in the url. But wget, and any other browser are trying to use the `CWD` command using the complete relative url (`pub/mozilla.org`), and that is when the 550 status is returned.

FTP protocol has been turned off. It's intentional. For more info, visit <https://blog.mozilla.org/it/2015/07/27/product-delivery-migration-what-is-changing-when-its-changing-and-the-impacts/>
